Let Me Introduce Myself

Hello! My name is Karla and I am addicted to books. Being in and around libraries my entire life, I was what could be termed a "professional patron." Then about a year ago, I was blessed to land a part-time job in a small local library. I was thrilled to discover the world behind the circulation desk. I finally know what I want to be when I grow up--a librarian. And I finally know how to get there--with an MLIS degree. I work at a petite, historic, quasi-public library in New England. I would like to work there for the rest of my life, and maybe even become the director someday.
